RX65N and RX651 Groups are new mainstream RX microcontrollers with RXv2 core, large-capacity RAM, and enhanced security, connectivity, and HMI

High power efficiency

  • Original RXv2 CPU core with maximum operating frequency of 120 MHz optimizes power efficiency (34 CoreMark/mA)
  • Enables battery life of endpoint devices and so on to be maximized, and enables high performance

Extensive communication and HMI functions and encryption functions realize secure updating of device control

  • The RX65N Group and the RX651 Group have products that have a code flash memory capacity of 1 MB or less, or 1.5 MB or more.

(a) Products with 1 MB or less code flash memory:

Large-capacity 256 KB RAM for carrying out high-speed communication processing that is required for various communication interfaces such as Ethernet,USB, CAN, SD host/slave interface, and quad SPI.

(b) Products with 1.5 MB or more code flash memory:

All the functions of the 1 MB or less products, plus encryption functions. Trusted secure IP protects encryption keys by controlling access. By combining this with a rich variety of communication functions high root-of-trust levels are achieved.
Built-in added-value functions contribute greatly to product development for the IoT and enhanced HMI:
- Protection function thats prevent erroneous writing of on-chip flash memory
- Dual-bank function that enables secure and easy program updating via a network
- LCDC and 2D graphics engine enables rich, heavy-load UI (accelerates user interface processing)
- Large-capacity 640 KB on-chip RAM can also be used for graphics processing
