Overview

Multi-protocol industrial Ethernet switches allow for easy transition between multiple common industrial Ethernet protocols. Renesas offers a complete design for a multi-port high-performance industrial Ethernet switch with 24VDC supply and multiple industrial Ethernet protocol support.

System Benefits​:

  • Up to 5x Ethernet
  • Multiple industrial Ethernet protocol support
    • PROFINET®, EtherNet/IP™, EtherCAT®
  • Integrated eMMC, DDR3 RAM, and QSPI Flash
  • Only 1x 24VDC (9V to 48V) supply required
    • All other rails are generated internally
    • Only two components are needed to power the whole application
    • Board space is reduced
