RH850/D1Mマイコンは最大5 MB・フラッシュメモリ、最大3.5 MB・内蔵RAM、ステッピングモーターのコントローラ／ドライバ、サウンド・ジェネレータを内蔵した製品をラインアップし、2D GPU、スプライトエンジン、JPEGユニット、HUD(Head UP Display)等歪調整のためのワーピングエンジンおよびRAMラッパー付きビデオRAMを搭載しており、ミドルレンジまたはハイレベルな2D描画が可能なインスツルメン トクラスタに最適なマイコンです。 さらにDDR2までの外部メモリインタフェースをサポートしています。
