Description

The RA6W2 is a highly integrated ultra-low-power Wi-Fi MCU that combines an Arm® Cortex®-M33 processor with a dual-band 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax Wi-Fi® 6 subsystem and Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) 5.1, alongside on-chip memory, advanced security, flexible peripheral interfaces, and integrated power management. This high level of integration enables a standalone single-chip solution for complex IoT designs requiring both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE connectivity. Extremely low-power operation is achieved by dynamically disabling unused functional domains, allowing near-zero power consumption during idle periods and significantly extending battery life in duty-cycled applications.

Built from the ground up for IoT, the RA6W2 incorporates secure boot, hardware crypto acceleration, and rich connectivity options including UART, SPI, I²C, I²S, PDM, SDIO, and Octal-SPI (OQSPI). With its combination of dual-radio connectivity, strong security, and energy-efficient processing, the RA6W2 is well-suited for smart home devices, home appliances, sensors, wearables, gateways, and other battery-powered or always-on connected products.
