This next-generation cordless string trimmer integrates high-efficiency power conversion, intelligent motor control, and smart connectivity into a single design. It is built around a next-generation GaN-based 3-phase BLDC motor controller with switching frequencies of up to 100kHz, delivering higher efficiency, lower heat loss, reduced cooling requirements, and a smaller form factor. A high-performance motor control MCU runs sensored field-oriented control (FOC) together with AI/ML-based adaptive control that automatically detects cutting-line length and optimizes line feeding for consistent cuts and maximum operator efficiency. Integrated Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) connectivity enables real-time monitoring, usage tracking, fleet management, and over-the-air firmware and AI updates. In addition, the modular platform design can be scaled to meet a wide range of customer requirements.
