Description
The RAA489400 is a USB Type-C® port controller designed under the USB Type-C Port Controller Interface Specification, USB Type-C Cable and Connector Specification, and USB Power Delivery (USB PD) Specification. A single USB Type-C Port Manager can be combined with multiple RAA489400 devices to implement all USB PD functions, such as power negotiation and Alternate Mode support, for multiple USB Type-C ports. The RAA489400 supports a 60V absolute maximum rating for both a VBUS voltage monitor (with relevant pin functions) and CC1/CC2, enabling a system capable of providing Extended Power Range (EPR) operation up to 240W/48V.
