  3. Why can't I obtain values from peripheral module pins set to input?

    Values input to peripheral modules cannot be obtained unless the bit in the input buffer control register (PnICR) which corresponds to the pin is set to 1. Set the ICR bit corresponding to the pin to 1, then enable the input buffer.
