HVPAK: High-Voltage Features

HVPAK™ is a highly integrated programmable mixed-signal matrix that combines logic, control, and high‑voltage motor drive capabilities in a compact 2mm × 3mm QFN package. Supporting operating voltages up to 26.4V and up to 3A per output, HVPAK integrates H‑bridge and half‑bridge functionality with advanced mixed‑signal logic. User-defined configurations are stored in one-time programmable (OTP) non‑volatile memory, enabling custom interconnections between internal logic, I/O pins, and macrocells. With advanced PWM macrocells, low idle current consumption, and excellent thermal efficiency, HVPAK enables flexible, space‑efficient motor control and load‑driving solutions.

Motor & Load Control Capabilities

Cost Reduction

Cost Reduction

HVPAK helps reduce total system cost by replacing multiple discrete ICs and passive components with a single compact programmable mixed-signal device. This directly supports BOM reduction, smaller PCB size and lower assembly complexity.

The HVPAK also helps minimize development cost and time to market by enabling faster design and prototyping through the Go Configure™ Software Hub.

As a result, HVPAK offers a cost-efficient solution for motor driving, LED driving, DC/DC conversion, relay/solenoid control and beyond.

Safety & Reliability

Safety & Reliability

HVPAK integrates multiple protection mechanisms that help improve system safety and reliability in motor-control designs.

The HVPAK features programmable:

  • Overcurrent protection
  • Undervoltage protection
  • Custom over-temperature protection

This combination of integrated protection and configurability helps design safer, more reliable end products with fewer external components.

Design Flexibility

Design Flexibility

HVPAK gives one single platform to support a wide range of applications with high-voltage functions up to 26.4V and 3A. Design developers can also create an unique custom protection features, without adding multiple external components.

As a result, HVPAK acts as a flexible, application-adaptable platform that solves motor and power-control challenges with one programmable solution.

Integration Solution

Integration Solution

HVPAK provides a highly integrated solution by combining logic, high-voltage H-bridges, PWM macrocells, comparators, I²C control, and configurable GPIOs in one device. Unlike traditional driver solutions, HVPAK consolidates many of these functions into a single programmable platform.

This integration enables compact designs for motor control, LED driving, buck/boost/buck-boost DC/DC converters, piezo buzzer driving, and other applications up to 13.2V or 26.4V.

Advanced Motor Control

Advanced Motor Control

HVPAK enables advanced motor-control capabilities which make it suitable for applications, such as: smart locks, cameras, printers, shavers, air conditioners, and other motor-driven products.

For example, for DC motors, HVPAK ensures:

  • Constant-voltage and constant-current mode
  • Custom current sensing and fault monitoring
  • PWM soft start

And for stepper motors, HVPAK supports: full-step, half-step, and microstep operation, including configurable microstepping up to 1/16 step for smoother movement and improved positioning.

Easy Design Iteration

Easy Design Iteration

HVPAK provides fast design iteration by enabling engineers to configure, test, and adjust system behavior directly in the Go Configure™ Software Hub.

The HVPAK design steps are fast, which makes it easier to evaluate different motor-control strategies, protection thresholds, PWM settings, and any application-specific features early in the development cycle. Since design changes can be implemented at the configuration level, it reduces prototype loops, engineering effort, and speed up time to market.
