Description
The evolution of EV power architectures is shifting from traditional distributed systems to more efficient centralized designs. X-in-1 integration combines multiple power conversion functions—traction motor control, onboard charger (OBC), and DC/DC conversion for auxiliary loads—into a single compact unit. This approach reduces system size, weight, and cost while simplifying vehicle assembly and improving overall efficiency.
The low-voltage (48V) system is optimized for low-voltage EV applications, featuring an Internal Resolver/Digital Converter (RDC2) and a motor control unit (EMU2) that minimize CPU load, enabling efficient motor control with minimal CPU interaction.
The medium-voltage (96V) system is designed for medium-voltage EV platforms and incorporates galvanic isolation between all sections, allowing the digital controller to safely interface with high-voltage components while maintaining performance and safety.
For high-voltage hybrid and electric vehicles, an advanced X-in-1 solution maximizes motor performance with optimized inverter hardware, motor parameter calibration tools, and a robust combination of MCUs, power management ICs, gate driver ICs, insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs), and fast recovery diodes (FRDs).
