The RX Family of 32-bit microcontrollers (MCUs) offers peripheral functions such as a real-time clock (RTC) which enables time capture on event-signal input through external pins, and a data encryption unit (DEU) which enables the use of AES encryption/decryption. The RX21A group of MCUs includes a built-in 24-bit Delta-Sigma (ΔΣ) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) for metering and measuring instrument applications such as a smart meters and various personal medical, clinical and fitness devices.
