Description

The Renesas xEV inverter enhances HEV/EV motor performance through its motor parameter calibration tool and practical inverter hardware designs. The system achieves this by leveraging a combination of MCUs, a power management IC (PMIC), and gate driver ICs. When combined with an inductive position sensor (IPS), it reduces cost and BOM compared to resolver‑based systems, offering a more cost‑effective and efficient design.
