Overview
Description
Perception and locomotion are undeniably the most critical components of any robotic system. From wheeled delivery robots to intelligent warehouse systems, autonomous agents must be able to accurately perceive and navigate their environment. This mobile platform pairs Renesas' LiDAR data acquisition IC with a high-performance Linux-based compute platform and a torque-controlled motor drive to perform these tasks with ease and efficiency. All of this is supported by a robust power design that operates from a single 24V battery.
System Benefits:
- Support for advanced mapping and localization algorithms such as SLAM
- Flexible compute platform supporting Linux- and ROS-based development
- Power design that supports ultra-high frequency LiDAR polling
