概要
説明
This three-phase 5kW Vienna rectifier implements a uni-directional three-level AC/DC front end that boosts a 400V, 50Hz grid input to a tightly regulated high-voltage DC bus using SiC rectifiers, high-efficiency Renesas GaN switches, and boost inductors in each phase. An SPWM control scheme formulated in the d–q reference frame shapes sinusoidal input currents at near-unity power factor while actively balancing the neutral-point voltage across the split DC bus. Integrated inrush limiting, current sensing, and voltage sensing functions support precise regulation and robust protection, while an auxiliary bias supply derived from the DC bus powers the analog sensing and control stages. Together, this architecture delivers low input current THD, improved semiconductor utilization, and conversion efficiency above 97% with a power factor greater than 0.99, making it well-suited for data center, telecom, and other high-density industrial power systems.
System Benefits:
- High-efficiency 5kW three-phase Vienna rectifier using Renesas GaN power stages for reduced losses and higher power density.
- Wide AC input range (340–460V) with tightly regulated 800V split DC output for global three-phase mains compatibility.
- Low input current distortion (<3% THD) and integrated EMI filtering to help meet IEC 61000-3-2/-3 and EMC standards.
- Robust control and PCB design for stable operation under grid disturbances and reliable high-power performance.
