Overview

Description

Vision AI boxes (also known as vision AI gateways) perform complex, real-time AI inference and image processing directly at the edge, reducing latency and cloud dependency for faster insights and processing. Acting as centralized control hubs, they efficiently manage video data from multiple cameras and AI models while ensuring secure connectivity, robust data handling, and scalable performance for large-scale deployments.

This vision AI box combines a high-performance AI MPU with optimized power management to deliver high-speed processing, low power consumption, and advanced peripheral integration—maximizing system efficiency in smart surveillance and industrial vision applications.

System Benefits​:

  • High-speed AI vision processing with multiple decoded video streams (H.264 or H.265), supporting concurrent AI inference with minimal switching overhead.
  • Flexible high-bandwidth and high-speed connectivity supports Gigabit Ethernet (100/1000Mbps) and USB 3.1 Gen1 (5Gbps) for fast data transfer.
  • Expandable peripheral interfaces via PCI Express® 2.0 (Gen2 / 2 Lane) for connecting additional accelerators or network devices.
  • Simplified power architecture with built-in power sequencing control in the MPU, streamlining power supply design and enhancing reliability.
  • Integrated communication modules, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE), and LTE Cat-M1 cellular IoT.
