Renesas' health monitoring band leverages Murata Manufacturing's piezoelectric film sensor to accurately measure heart and respiration rates. Designed for a compact form factor with minimal component count while retaining high performance, the system integrates a powerful MCU capable of executing advanced algorithms to estimate mental states, such as drowsiness, and detect physiological abnormalities based on SpO₂, body temperature, and heart rate (EKG). Additionally, the band supports wireless charging via NFC for enhanced convenience
