Overview
Description
Renesas' Health Monitor Band reference design is a compact, low-power sensing solution suitable for wearables, healthcare devices, consumer electronics, and industrial equipment. It enables heart rate detection, with signal conditioning handled by a GreenPAK™ programmable mixed-signal IC and data analysis performed by the RA4E1 microcontroller, using Murata Manufacturing's piezoelectric film sensor. The PTX30W single-chip NFC Receiver enables NFC wireless charging when paired with a TDK antenna. And, the DA14531MOD Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) module provides smooth connectivity with smartphones.
Features
- Detects subtle heartbeat vibrations of the sensor with the GreenPAK programmable mixed-signal IC and MCU
- Achieves efficient NFC wireless charging with the PTX30W NFC Receiver
- Enables seamless smartphone connectivity with a low-power Bluetooth LE module
