概要
説明
Digitally controlled AC/DC LED drivers are widely used in lighting and building automation systems, where energy efficiency, power factor correction, and networked control are essential for modern installations. These systems integrate power conversion, dimming, and communication capabilities to enable efficient LED operation, while supporting interoperability with centralized lighting control networks such as DALI.
This design integrates power factor correction (PFC) and DALI communication within a single controller, simplifying system architecture and reducing component count. It supports a range of configurations for different power levels and application requirements, enabling flexible LED driver implementations. A GaN-based power stage improves power conversion efficiency, while digital control enables precise power regulation and dimming. With support for both isolated and non-isolated architectures, the design provides a scalable and compact platform for energy-efficient, connected lighting systems.
System Benefits:
- Single-chip integration of PFC control and DALI communication reduces system complexity and BOM cost by consolidating power control and communication functions into a unified architecture.
- Digitally controlled PFC enables optimal operation across input and output conditions, achieving high-efficiency AC/DC conversion and improved power quality.
- GaN-based power stage reduces switching losses, enables higher switching frequencies, and increases power density for more efficient, compact designs.
- Flexible architecture supports both isolated and non-isolated LED driver implementations, addressing a wide range of power levels and application requirements.
