Overview

Description

The SLG46826V-DIP 20-pin DIP prototyping board is perfect for breadboarding and fast prototyping with the SLG46586 programmable mixed-signal matrix with in-system programmability IC. It requires the SLG4SA-DIP DIP Adapter to use with the GreenPAK™ Advanced Development Board.

The GreenPAK DIP Adapter is a small PCB that allows users to adapt STQFN packages into a DIP footprint. This small .43in x 1.03in board uses a 20-pin DIP footprint with a 0.3in width. Users can also use this adapter for prototyping by making the STQFN package compatible with solder-free breadboards.

Features

  • Low cost
  • Simplifies prototyping of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) ICs
  • Optional VDD LED indicator

  2. Open source GreenPAK SMD to DIP are available

In case anybody is interested, I posted open source designs of SMD to DIP adapters for GreenPAK devices.  They include a connectors for standalone and in-circuit programming.  Note that the connector uses the SWIIC pinout rather than Renesas' pinout. I program them with RP2040 boards such a Raspberry Pi ...

  3. SLG46826 I2C Soft Reset Caused NVM Read Protection

I've been programming an SLG46826V-DIP using a CH431A and everything was going well. I was following the ISP document and the Arduino sample code. On the Medium post a soft reset is mentioned "...by generating a soft reset using I2C. By setting register in address 0xC8, the device ...
