Overview

This tool supports many kinds of Renesas’ microcomputers.
The tool can convert from trained model of “PyTorch”, “Keras”, “Tensorflow”, or 8-bit quantized model of “TensorFlow Lite” and import it easily to e2 studio that is Renesas' integrated development environment.
These kind of Renesas products are suitable to be used for relatively small-scale AI for endpoints.

Tools for Running Learned AI on Renesas MCUs and MPUs
Tool Description
e-AI Translator Converts the learned AI network of Caffe or TensorFlow, open source machine learning/deep learning frameworks, to the MCU/MPU development environment.
e-AI Checker Based on the output result from the translator, the ROM/RAM mounting size and the inference execution processing time are calculated while referring to the information from the selected MCU/MPU.

The license file for e-AI Translator is updated every month.
Be careful about the license file version for the e-AI Translator, each file has different content.
This version of e-AI Translator does not support Caffe and TensorFlow (tf.nn API and tf.layers API). If these frameworks are required, use e-AI Translator V1.6.0.
The required software to install is changed by support of PyTorch and TensorFlow major version up. (e.g., Python). Refer to User’s Manual for the detail.
