Overview

Description

This remote sensing system supports robust next-generation vehicle electrical/electronic (E/E) architectures by enhancing the protection of Electronic Control Unit (ECU) communication networks. It facilitates the transition from numerous individual control units to a more centralized system with fewer, but more powerful vehicle computers.

System Benefits​:

  • Long-distance remote sensing over CAN/LIN.
  • Includes basic drivers for the MCU, facilitating easy integration and development.
  • Enhanced data security, support for over-the-air (OTA) updates, and full bi-directional communication, allowing sensor reconfiguration over its lifetime.
  • Mitigates noise and parasitic components over longer distances in new car E/E architectures with centralized ECUs.
  • Reduces wiring by supporting multiple sensors multiplexed on one interface.
  • Suitable for automotive body control modules, vehicle controller units, and related applications.
  • Suitable for bridge ECU and inductive position sensor (IPS) for applications like console and throttle pedal.
