The ZSSC3xxx communications board is an accessory board included in select Renesas ZSSC3xxx sensor signal conditioner (SSC) evaluation kits. It provides the communication interface between a user's computer and the SSC IC mounted on a compatible ZSSC3xxx evaluation board or user-developed module, enabling device configuration, calibration, and evaluation through a USB connection.
The communications board serves as the central interface for software-based interaction with the SSC and can be used with compatible ZSSC3xxx evaluation platforms. It is included with supported evaluation kits and can also be ordered separately.

A brief introduction and overview of IDT's (acquire by Renesas) sensor signal conditioner evaluation kits. Evaluation kits generally consist of three parts: a communication interface board, a device board, and a sensor simulator board - all connected together. A sophisticated software GUI accompanies the kit, enabling an engineer to learn how to use the part rapidly, do quick prototyping, and practice calibrations.
