Description

The RAJ240301 is Renesas' Li-ion battery fuel gauge IC (FGIC), integrating an MCU and an AFE into a single package. It offers advanced battery management capabilities, powered by a Renesas RL78 CPU core with multiple low-power modes that deliver high performance during ultra-low power operation.

Equipped with embedded flash memory on the MCU, similar to other RL78 family devices, it stores program instructions and data to execute critical battery management tasks. These include measuring battery voltage, current, and temperature, estimating remaining capacity, and providing over-current, over-voltage, and over-temperature protection. The RAJ240301 ensures reliable and efficient battery operation, making it a robust solution for modern power management needs.
