Overview
Description
This is a USB-certified single-port power bank reference design. It can connect 2 to 4 cells (default is 3 cells) in series and has a battery monitor function on this board. When combined with a lithium-ion battery, this reference can realize a power bank.
The USB Type-C® port is Dual Role Power (DRP), supporting both sink mode to charge the battery and source mode to support programmable power supply (PPS). The standard firmware provided is designed to work with 2 cells and 4 cells, other than the default 3 cells, by changing the board settings.

For firmware customization, the firmware generation support tool (PDC image generator, PDC-IMGGEN) is provided. This is a GUI tool that can change the parameters of USB PD protocols.
