Overview
Description
The demand for smart locks is a rapidly growing segment for the home and building automation industries. This smart door lock solution features fingerprint control and low-power Wi-Fi, providing convenient fingerprint recognition, as well as on-site and remote lock open/close. The solution uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) IoT to operate a door and monitor the door’s status, such as opened or closed. Users can control these operations using a mobile app.

- RX651 high-performance (120MHz), low pin count, 32-bit microcontroller (MCU) is suitable for designing in a fingerprint module for the algorithm design
- Ultra-low power Wi-Fi system-on-chip (SoC) for battery-powered Internet of Things (IoT) devices
- Open-source app based on an Android system for Java entry-level customer reference
- User can remotely open/close the door using a button
