Renesas today provided its final update on the status of the Kawashiri Factory (Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture) after the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake that occurred on July 28.
Following the phased resumption of production on August 4, the factory returned to its pre-earthquake production capacity (wafer input capacity) on the evening of August 23.
