Description

The ZSC31015 (RBicdLite™) is a CMOS integrated circuit for highly accurate amplification and sensor-specific correction of bridge sensor signals. Digital compensation of sensor offset, sensitivity, temperature drift and non-linearity is accomplished via an internal digital signal processor running a correction algorithm with calibration coefficients stored in a non-volatile EEPROM. The ZSC31015 is adjustable to nearly all piezoresistive bridge sensors. Measured and corrected bridge values are provided at the SIG™ pin, which can be configured as an analog voltage output or as a one-wire serial digital output. The digital one-wire interface can be used for a simple PC-controlled calibration procedure to program a set of calibration coefficients into an on-chip EEPROM. The calibrated ZSC31015 and a specific sensor are mated digitally: fast, precise, and without the cost overhead associated with trimming by external devices or laser. Integrated diagnostics functions make the ZSC31015 particularly well suited for automotive applications.

  1. ZSC31015 4-20mA Output Example

Hello there, I plan to use the ZSC31015 IC in my electronic design. While doing this work, I found a very nice document that was published. I am sharing the link of the document with you: www.renesas.com/.../zsc31010-zsc31015-application-note-analog-4-20ma-current-loop ...

  2. Although VDD does not change, the output of the ZSC31015 integrated circuit slowly drifts upwards. What could be the reason for this upward drift?

Hello,Hello,We have produced a pressure transmitter with a 4-20ma output using the ZSC31015 series Resistive Sensor Signal Conditioner. We used the ZSC31010 / ZSC31015 Application Note - Analog 4-to-20mA Current Loop Output Applications document during production. However, after calibrating, the pressure slowly drifts upwards after initially ...

  3. ZSC31015Exx with piezoresistive bridge sensor, oscillations

Dear, good day! we use ZSC31015 as piezoresistive bridge sensor signal conditioning to assemble pressure sensor. Everything runs smoothly. We meet strange thing that when we put the pressure sensor into use, if we add 100nF to 470nF capacitor at sensor output PIN to the ground to smooth the signal ...
