Description

The DA9214-A is a synchronous dual step-down converter supplying the processor's core and GPU rail in automotive infotainment and navigation system applications requiring high currents. DA9214-A is also suitable for powering FPGAs.

The input voltage range of 2.8V to 5.5V makes it suitable for standard 5V supplies or USB power supplies. DA9214-A delivers2x 10A output current, suitable for the highest performing application processors such as multicore arrangements of the Arm® Cortex®-A15/A57 family. Due to the multiphase topology, DA9214-A provides outstanding load transient response and component sizes below 1mm height.

Benefits

  • Dynamic Voltage Control (DVC)
  • Integrated power switches
  • Remote sensing at point of load
  • High efficiency over a wide output range
  • Low output ripple
  • Small <1mm height components

Supported SoC PMIC Platforms

  • Xilinx MPSoCs and FPGAs
    • Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC (ZU3CG, ZU9EG, ZU19EG)
  • Renesas R-Car Processor Family

  1. DA9062 + DA9214 for a Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC (ZU2EG – ZU5EV) : How to ICP DA9214 ?

Dear Dialog Tech Team,  For a Xilinx customer in Benelux, we would need to provide PSU for a Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC (ZU2EG – ZU5EV) . Typical ref design uses DA9213 (one output rail at 20A) but for this one we need to separate VCCINT_VCU (0,9V) and VCCINT (0,85V) as ...
