Description
The RH850/U2C 100-pin piggyback board supports all devices of the RH850/U2C series in a 100-pin package. It can be used standalone or in combination with a mainboard of the RH850 evaluation platform. The modular RH850 evaluation platform, consisting of mainboards and piggyback boards, is a platform for evaluating the features and performance of Renesas 32-bit RH850 microcontrollers.

- Device core voltage VDD either from the onboard voltage regulator or via 4mm banana jack (red)
- Debug and programming interface
- 14-pin connector for E2 emulator
- Support JTAG/LPD debug interface
- Offering serial flash programming support for the RH850 on-chip flash memory
- Each pin of the device is accessible via a 2.54mm pitch connector (double row)
- External clock circuit with an exchangeable 8MHz, 16MHz, 20MHz, or 24MHz crystal resonator
- 8x signal LEDs, 3x power supply LEDs (5.0V, 3.3V, 1.09V)
- Reset circuit/switch
- Jumpers for device mode selection and other configuration options
