Description
The RH850/E2X 468-pin Piggyback Board supports all devices of the RH850/E2H, RH850/E2UH, and RH850/E2x-FCC2 series in 468-pin package. It can be used standalone or in combination with the mainboard of the RH850 Evaluation Platform. The modular RH850 Evaluation Platform, consisting of mainboards and piggyback boards, is a platform for evaluating the features and performance of Renesas 32-bit RH850 microcontrollers.

- Socket for mounting the MCU [NOTE: MCU is not included, needs to be ordered separately]
- Power supply options via 4mm Banana Jacks (3x red, 1x black):
- 3.3V or 5.0V single supply
- Flexible, individual power supply (typ. 1.12V/1.28V, 3.3V, 5.0V)
- 14-pin Renesas Debug Connector to connect a Renesas or 3rd-party emulator
- Offering LPD (1-pin/4-pin) and JTAG debug connection support
- Offering serial Flash programming support for the RH850 on-chip Flash memory
- 34-pin AURORA Interface Connector
- On-board interface connector for
- Renesas High-speed Serial I/F (RHSIF)
- Renesas High-speed Bus (RHSB)
- High-speed SPI
- Each pin of the device is accessible via a 2.54mm pitch connector (triple row)
- External clock circuit with an exchangeable 20 or 40MHz Crystal Resonator by mounting a programmable crystal oscillator (not included)
- 8x Signal LEDs
- Reset circuit/switch
- Jumpers for device mode selection
