Overview
Description
A gear shifter system with a low consumption current MCU and an inductive position sensor (IPS) combines precise position sensing with intelligent control for seamless gear selection. The IPS detects the gear shifter's position using contactless inductance changes, ensuring high accuracy and durability even in harsh environments. The MCU processes sensor data, interprets gear positions, and controls actuators or signals to the transmission system for smooth gear engagement. Additionally, the system integrates diagnostic and safety algorithms, communicating with the vehicle's ECU via protocols like CAN or LIN.
System Benefits:
- Low consumption current MCU is designed for automotive applications.
- Inductive position sensor ensures accurate, contactless position detection for precise gear selection.
- Continuous monitoring and built-in fail-safes enhance operational safety and enable quick fault detection.
- Compact design simplifies integration, reducing weight and power consumption.
