A magnitude 5.6 earthquake, measuring lower 6 on the Japanese seismic intensity scale, struck eastern Yamanashi Prefecture at 22:29 on June 26 JST.
There was no damage to the buildings, utilities, or manufacturing equipment at Renesas' Kofu Factory (Yamanashi Prefecture), which is located near the epicenter. The factory continues to operate normally with no impact on production.
