Description

This 180-degree sensorless field-oriented control (FOC) power tool solution solves common pain points in this type of application. Pain points include sensorless vector control algorithms, high torque at low speed, and high speed recovery from low speed. By using a combination of active flux and high-frequency injection (HFI) algorithms based on the saliency effect, this solution takes full advantage of having two algorithms.
