An oxygen concentrator is a type of medical device that concentrates the oxygen from a gas supply by selectively removing nitrogen to supply an oxygen-enriched product gas stream. This solution is for the control of an oxygen concentrator in pressure swing operation. Swing mode is when mode 1 and mode 2 periodically alternate by controlled valves. Nitrogen is absorbed in green marked zeolite-filled tanks to increase oxygen concentration. The tank is then cleared from nitrogen by periodic reverse airflow.
