Vehicle Computer for Future E/E Architecture

Overview

The vehicle computer system is ideal for developing applications like gateways, car servers, and zone control. It supports the implementation of next-generation E/E architecture, enabling advanced automotive solutions.

System Benefits​:

  • Supports modern automotive network technologies (e.g., TSN Ethernet, 10BASE-T1S, 1000BASE-RH, 2.5GBASE-T1) and legacy networks like CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and SENT. It also includes analog input, wake-up, and real-time clock support, enhancing development usability.
  • Delivers up to 27K DMIPS application performance and 5.3K DMIPS real-time performance to support growing user applications.
  • Enables designers to reuse up to 80% of software code from three generations of R-Car SoC and RH850 MCU applications, reducing development time and effort.
  • Pre-regulators and PMICs developed for R-Car S4 provide supply voltages that meet ASIL D functional safety requirements under ISO 26262.
