Hardware and software package for realizing safety network function.

  • Easily conduct evaluation and development of safety network function on a board equipped with two RZ/T2L chips
  • Reference software is available for three types of safety protocols (FSoE, PROFIsafe, and CIPSafety)

What is inside:

  • RZ/T2L functional safety reference board
  • RZ/T2L safety network reference software (scan QR code inside the kit)
    • RZ/T2L FSoE reference software
    • RZ/T2L PROFIsafe reference software
    • RZ/T2L CIP Safety reference software

Please note that you will need to prepare a master device and other tools that are not included in the kit. Refer to the system configuration example document.

If you are using FSoE, you must be an ETG member, and if you are using CIP Safety, you must be an ODVA member. If you are using PROFIsafe, you will need to purchase the PROFIsafe driver from Siemens.

When using the software in the customer’s final product, a commercial license agreement is required.

    • Remote I/O board with HFT = 1 configuration with two RZ/T2L chips
    • Equipped with ICE connectors for each RZ/T2L to support software development
    • I/O signal state (H or L) can be checked by LED
    • Input port level (H or L) can be toggled using test switch
    • Schematic/bill of materials included
  • RZ/T2L Safety Network Reference Software
    • Scan the QR code that comes with the RZ/T2L Functional Safety Reference Board
    • A set of sample projects, software development handbook, and software documentation for remote I/O systems
    • Choose from three types of safety protocols:
      • Sample project for FSoE slave device
      • Sample project for PROFIsafe F-Device device
      • Sample project for CIP Safety target device
    • The software development handbook guides you through a series of development procedures
