Description

This reference design allows for the control of multiple servos using the Robot Operating System (ROS). Our RA6M5 MCU, featuring the high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M33, integrates communication interfaces like Ethernet and USB for seamless Pub/Sub messaging between ROS nodes. By utilizing our ISL81401 buck-boost controller and other power devices, we deliver the precise voltage needed for each servo and the entire system.

Features

  • Supports XRCE-DDS client used for ROS by the high-performance RA6M5
  • Can control multiple servos via 1-wire UART and RS-485
  • Supports Pub/Sub communication via Ethernet, USB, and Wi-Fi modules

Applications

Interactive block diagram of the centralized ROS body controller features a 32-bit MCU, supports Pub/Sub communication, and provides multiple servo control via 1-wire UART and RS-485.
