Renesas' SLG7RN47748 DC/DC Boost & Buzzer Driver reference design highlights the versatility of HVPAK™ mixed-signal ICs by integrating a boost converter and piezo buzzer driver into one compact solution. It boosts a 3V coin cell to ~9.5V and drives a 1kHz buzzer for short alerts. Designed for efficiency, it draws ~8.5mA active and <50nA in sleep mode, featuring soft-start to limit inrush current and undervoltage protection for reliability. With its small footprint, low power, and robust performance, this design is ideal for battery-powered notification devices.
