Overview

The RZ/Five evaluation kit (EVK) is ideal for evaluating and developing with the Renesas RZ/Five MPU. The EVK includes the RZ/Five SMARC v2.1 System on Module (SoM) and its carrier board. The module board complies with the SMARC v2.1 standard.

Carrier Board Details
- Two standard USB interfaces: USB Micro-AB receptacle (ch0: USB2.0 OTG) and USB Type A receptacle (ch1: USB2.0 Host).
- Ethernet RJ45 connector for software development and device evaluation.
- Advance audio development: audio codec and audio jacks for connection to an audio interface.
- Asynchronous serial port interface via USB Micro-AB receptacle.
- Two PMOD sockets for peripheral interface.
- microSD card slot for external storage.
- USB Type-C receptacle supports USB PD power input.
