The Arm® Cortex®-A53 platform offers efficient data processing, video encoding/decoding, and AI model execution, making it ideal for industrial automation environments focused on real-time performance, reliability, and scalability.

This industrial automation platform design provides a comprehensive power and clocking system tailored for Arm Cortex-A53 MPUs, including the iMX8M series of application processors.

System Benefits​:

  • Simplifies system integration by meeting power, clock, and connectivity requirements for Arm Cortex-A53 core MPUs, reducing design complexity.
  • Two high-performance PMICs simplify design, reduce the BOM, and offer a smaller footprint, lowering costs and space requirements.
  • Multiple clock outputs from a single generator reduce the need for multiple components, saving cost and board space.
  • A dedicated programmable PCIe clock with very low jitter ensures reliable PCIe performance with minimal signal distortion, enhancing system stability and data transfer accuracy.
