RRP52999 Typical Application Circuit
Description
RRP52999 is a negative low‑dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator operating from –2.5V to –20V and delivering up to 500mA of output current with a typical dropout voltage of 269mV. Output voltage is adjustable from –1.2V to –18V using external feedback resistors.
Quiescent current measures 98µA under no‑load conditions and typically reduces to 10µA in shutdown mode, supporting low‑power system requirements.
Robust regulation performance is complemented by input undervoltage lockout (UVLO) with hysteresis, an enable control pin, short‑circuit current limiting with foldback, and over‑temperature shutdown protection with hysteresis. It is stable with a minimum 2.2μF MLCC output capacitor and is offered in an 8‑lead 3mm × 3mm DFN package.
