Overview
Description
The ISL81601EVAL1Z evaluation board features the ISL81601, a 60V high voltage synchronous buck-boost controller that offers external soft-start and independent enable functions, and integrates UV/OV/OC/OT protections. A programmable switching frequency ranging from 100kHz to 600kHz helps to optimize inductor size while the strong gate driver delivers up to 20A for the buck-boost output.
Features
- Wide input range: 9V to 60V (for ISL81601EVAL1Z)
- Bidirectional operation
- High light-load efficiency in pulse skipping DEM operation
- Optional DEM/PWM operation
- Optional CC/HICCUP OCP protection
- Supports prebias output with soft-start
- Power-good (PGOOD) indicator
- OVP, OTP and UVP protection
- Back biased from output to improve efficiency

- ISL81601EVAL1Z design files
Hello, I want to import the ISL81601EVAL1Z board into ALTIUM. The design files available on Renesas site contain .dsn and .brd files. The .dsn schematics files is compatible with the altium importer but not the .brd files. Could you convert the .brd files into .alg files or directly into .PcbDoc ...
Feb 17, 2025 - 3D model for ISL81601EVAL1Z board?
Can anyone provide a 3D model for this eval board? I've ordered one and while I wait to receive it, I'd like to get a head start on mounting it in a small enclosure. I do not have access to Cadence Allegro to generate one from the design ...
Nov 16, 2022 - ISL81601 not switching
Hi everybody, I'm using ISL81601EVAL1Z. When I using with the default values with schematic, it was working very fine. Then I remove the output capacitors and it didn't switch the mosfets. I also checked the VCC5V,VDD are OKAY. COMP,CLKOUT are okay. When Iooked the IMON_IN ...
