説明
近年、車載情報機器は、スマートフォンとの連携に代表されるIT技術との融合で、より高機能、高付加価値化を実現する傾向にあります。
中でもディスプレイ・オーディオは、スマートフォンとの連携を想定したエントリモデルの車載情報機器として、今後の拡大が期待されています。スマートフォン との連携で、これまで車載情報機器だけでは実現困難だったユーザ・エクスペリエンスの実現と機能の拡張性を持つようになり、車載情報機器の性能面への余裕度が求められる一方、エントリモデルとしてコストの最適化が求められています。また、複数のスマートフォンとの接続インタフェースや、つながることで広がるアプリケーション群に対応するため、ソフトウェア開発の難易度が上がり、開発スピードの低下や開発費の高騰が課題となっています。
複数の情報を統合・判断し、運転者に最適な形で通知する統合コクピットにもさまざまなバリエーションが存在します。このバリエーションに柔軟に対応するために、多様なニーズに応えることができる製品ラインナップと、その製品ラインナップ上で動作するソフトウェアの再利用性が、統合コクピットを実現するための重要な要件となってきます。
