Overview
Description
The FS3000 is a surface-mount type air velocity module utilizing a MEMS thermopile-based sensor. The FS3000 features a digital output with 12-bit resolution. The sensor comprises a “solid” thermal isolation technology and silicon-carbide coating to protect it from abrasive wear and water condensation.
The FS3000 features a compact design fit for low profile enclosures.
Features
- Robust “solid” isolation technology
- Resistant to surface contamination
- Resistant to vibration and pressure shock
- Low power application
- Digital output: I2C
- Supply voltage: 3.3V
- Module operating temperature range: 0°C to +85°C

About FS3000 output value
Hi. I have some questions about output value of FS3000-1005. If Air Velocity is 0m/s, output is 409 in datasheet but my output is 405. Let me know why this result happens. Additionally, What is the best way of Air velocity calculation if output is like 500 ...

Cleaning the Fs3000 sensor
I am having issues getting multiple sensors to produce values close together. I read that a factor that can influence the accuracy is contamination. I was wondering how should I clean the fs3000 airflow sensor. Can I use isopropyl alcohol?

Renesas FS3000 sensor testing on Jetson Linux tegra module
... need separate driver for FS300 for Linux kernel 5.10? [I am assuming it is not required since it uses generic I2C communication and address space, need confirmation though] 2) Has Renesas done any Linux integration testing of FS3000 through tools like i2cdetect ? Is there any official documentation about it?

FSxxxx - Ensuring laminar flow
Ensuring a laminar flow, which is a flow regime characterized by high momentum diffusion and low momentum convection, is often necessary for accurate flow sensor readings. Here are some ways to ensure laminar flow for a flow sensor: Use of Flow Straighteners: Flow straighteners, which are devices that reduce turbulence ...
