Overview
Description
The ZMOD4510 gas sensor platform detects air quality in a variety of indoor and outdoor applications. The module is a 12-pin LGA assembly (standard version 3.0mm x 3.0mm x 0.7mm) that consists of a gas sense element and a CMOS signal conditioning IC. The module’s sense element consists of a heater element on a silicon-based MEMS structure and a metal-oxide (MOx) chemiresistor. The signal conditioner controls the sensor temperature and measures the MOx resistance, which is a function of the gas concentration.
The freely available firmware enables different ZMOD4510 features based on traditional and machine learning algorithms with embedded artificial intelligence (AI) using the same hardware platform. This is used to determine the Air Quality Index (AQI) output, which is based on the gases present. The measurement results can be read via an I2C interface with the user’s microprocessor, which processes the data to determine the levels of gases present and to indicate the AQI based on international standards. With its latest ultra-low power mode, the ZMOD4510 is an excellent choice for detecting ozone and nitrogen dioxide in indoor and outdoor applications.

ZMOD4510 I2C registers
Hi, We are integrating a ZMOD4510 sensor with an STM32F4 MCU, through I2C interface. However looking at the documentations, we cannot find the desciption on the register addresses and details. Can you please point me to the documentations describing how to integrate the sensor through I2C interface? Thank you! [locked ...

ZMOD4510 High Ozone Tolerance
Last Updated: 08/16/2023 Question: Will a high ozone concentration (ppm range) damage the ZMOD4510 sensor? Answer: Very high ozone concentrations may occur during cleaning and purification using ozone generators. We have successfully tested the ZMOD4510 with very high ozone concentrations (ppm). Although, the sensor signal saturates ...

ZMOD4510 Combine Different Firmware Examples And Algorithm Libraries
... I have strange results when switching between Ultra-Low Power Firmware and other modes. Answer: For ZMOD4510 a combination of the different firmwares is not possible. When switching between the modes it is recommended to use a new sensor because the sensor material memorizes the operation mode. Suitable Products ZMOD4510
