About Bus Transceivers

Bus transceivers utilize CMOS logic gates to enable smooth data flow within a system, allowing communication between data buses. They are commonly used for two-way data transmission between internal memory and processing device buses or between internal and external device buses. Bus transceivers are available in synchronous or asynchronous configurations. Synchronous bus transceivers transmit data in a continuous stream. Asynchronous devices send data in smaller, variable-sized groups. Serial bus transceivers transmit one bit at a time, while parallel bus transceivers handle multiple bits simultaneously. We offer bus transceivers in 8-, 16-, and 32-bit configurations with two- or three-state outputs, 5V input tolerance, and bus-hold capabilities.
