Description

The CCE4511 is a high-voltage interface IC with overvoltage detection as well as high temperature and overcurrent protection, based on a 0.18µm HV-CMOS technology. Typical applications are industrial IO modules, which support the IO-Link standard. An integrated IO-Link frame handler is provided, which automates most of the lower-layer communication tasks to improve the application performance. This reduces the microcontroller loads significantly, thus gaining more performance for other tasks, even if slower microcontrollers are used. A variety of application fields is given by different configuration options. CCE4511 provides the perfect solution for 4, 8, 12, and 16-port IO-Link master applications connecting IO-Link compliant industrial sensors and actuators.

For a complete end-to-end system solution, Renesas also provides the CCE4503 single-channel IO-Link device transceiver and the RH4Z2501 single-channel IO-Link device and master transceiver.
