Description
This Low-Voltage Motor Controller for 2/3 Wheelers reference design features a traction motor inverter capable of driving motors up to 3kW at 48V, providing a complete demonstration platform for motor control applications. Deliverables include inverter hardware design files (schematics and Gerber) and peripheral sample code. The application accelerator unit (AAU) handles core field-oriented control (FOC) functions, complemented by application-level software (ASW) generated via MATLAB-based model development for system management. GreenPAK™ ICs support phase overcurrent protection and signal level shifting, while flux concentrators enable accurate phase current sensing. Typical applications include low-voltage traction drives for electric 2- and 3-wheelers such as e-scooters, e-bikes, and e-rickshaws.
