Overview
Description
The Robotic Development Kit (RDK) helps to accelerate high‑performance AI vision and robotics designs using our Arm®‑based RZ/V2H microprocessor (MPU). This kit is designed to tackle demanding AI image‑processing workloads with up to 80 TOPS (sparse) AI inference performance, while still giving the flexibility to run multiple operating systems on a multi‑core CPU. By combining powerful AI acceleration with rich connectivity, we enable rapid prototyping, system bring‑up, and smooth integration into robotic platforms.
Features
- Arm® architecture supporting simultaneous multi‑OS operation
- RZ/V2H MPU delivering up to 80 TOPS (sparse) AI inference for real‑time vision and robotics workloads
- MIPI CSI‑2 and multiple high‑bandwidth interfaces for camera and sensor integration
- Onboard JTAG, DIP switches, and flexible power architecture for efficient debug and bring‑up
- Yocto 5.1 (Styhead) and Ubuntu 24.04 support for Linux‑based AI development
- Software enablement for ROS 2 Jazzy-based robotics development, with customized packages and development support
