AI-generated Summary: Communication with external I/O during low power modes uses SCI, SPI, and external pin interrupts (IRQn) in RX family microcontrollers, especially the RX66N group. The system configures peripheral functions such as ICU for interrupts, SCI12 for UART communication, and GPIO pins for LED status indication and data transfer. Commands control LED states and communication flow. Hardware modifications include jumper cable installation for USB-to-serial connection. This enables efficient low power communication, ideal for battery-powered applications requiring periodic CPU wake-up and data processing.

AI-generated Summary: The method detects tampering by sending random numbers through a loopback communication and comparing received data to identify discrepancies or communication errors such as framing, parity, and overflow errors. Upon detection, sensitive data in SRAM and backup registers is erased to prevent information leakage. This approach differs from traditional voltage-level tamper detection and supports detection of enclosure opening, communication line breaks, and data tampering. The system uses existing RX family peripherals like DTC, ELC, SCI, and timers to implement tamper detection efficiently.

AI-generated Summary: The LED lighting control program operates on the RX66N Target Board, managing LED blinking via either user switch interrupts or timer interrupts based on startup mode selection. Automatic mode uses a timer interrupt to alternate LEDs every 500 ms, while manual mode toggles LEDs upon user switch presses. The program flow includes power-on reset detection, mode setting, and interrupt handling. The RX66N MCU supports a 4-GB address space with distinct memory maps per operating mode. Internal block diagrams highlight the utilized RX66N modules for LED control.
