Overview
Description
The ISL78236CRSHEVAL1Z evaluation kit is designed for individuals requiring point-of-load (POL) applications with input voltages ranging from 2.85V to 6V. This evaluation board is used to demonstrate the performance of the ISL78236 low quiescent current mode converter in a current-sharing configuration. It is set up to deliver up to 6A of output current by paralleling both outputs. Alternatively, the ISL78236 can be configured for a dual-output setup, providing 3A from each output.
The ISL78236 is offered in a compact 4mm x 4mm 24-lead QFN package with a maximum height of 1mm. The complete converter occupies an area of less than 5.46cm2.
